crew removing

Like in the title, is there any way to remove your crew from a ship? Im talking about stock version. I cant seem to find a way in the game, and neither could I find a solution here. Help? Anyone?

same way as you hire them (in tavern ofc), just instead of clicking the arrow pointing to the left, click one pointing to the right

If you have more than one ship and are either planning on selling, sinking or storing a ship with the port controller then you can press F2, go to ship tab. Double click on the ship your planning on doing one of the above and go to transfer crew and transfer as many of the crew to your ship as you can, if you have another shop that can hold more crew than it has then swap with that ship and then repeat the process with the ship you don't want any more, then swap back to the ship you was using. If you are going to store the ship the crew are automatically removed off the ship, same if been sold. Personally i don't really care if there are crew left on the ships i' no longer want or need so i will either store them or sell them with the crew still onboard and let the game remove the crew for me. :

yup, i know i can leave them in the tavern, but i wanted to make a specialized crew for boarding (fighters) and whren i was leaving my old crew in the tavern, then their fighting skill was getting lower, and cannon skill was getting higher. is there any way to dispose of them completely?

No, the tavern is the only way (that I'm aware of) to manually get rid of your crew... Well, that and killing them in battle. I suggest boarding a series of small merchant ships. They'll be grizzled sea dogs in no time! :ixi
Just be careful not to get them all killed, and you'll find that they become quite skilled fairly quickly.

Just so you know, your men's sklls are based on where you hire them from. Brits are excellent gunners, Spaniards good boarders, Dutch excellent sailors and pirates are a mish-mash, French I can't remember. At least I think thats how it goes, but I could be wrong.

Pay attention to where you are hiring from and you will soon learn how nationality affects your crew.
