    I am playing CoAS unmodded mostly. I played PotC modded and unmodded. AoP... I don't recommend it! I would recommend CoAS, for the graphics and the quests. You can buy it from gamersgate.com.

    From what I know, all your problems have been caused by the Peter Blood quest. It affects all your stats, and recovering the missing points caused by the huge ship takes long time, so you'll need even more patience for that matter.     A heads up: One of Romania's top reviewers (LEVEL) reviewed Pirates of the Black Cove and gaved them a 6.5, considering the game a funny, but buggy and boring game. It appears IGN reviewed the game too, giving it a 5.5.

    That would raise problems too, because the game has a limited number of saves allowed. When you'll reach the limit it will say no more saves are allowed and then you'll have to delete them, which would be unconforable too.
