    that's how buildmods get started,one small little "correction" then before you know it you have 7 or so new storylines over a 300 new ships new character models and aspects to the game that you thought was impossible :lol: i guess there's no reference to the 68 pounders the forts are using now...

    yeah and i did some looking in resources and found 1 reference to cannons,and it only mentioned 16 and 24 pounders,no other type was mentioned,so i think adding the other cannons should be simple enough,just add them to every reference of cannons and viola more cannons to run from :lol:

    want to add,you can see how much nav ya need for each class by right clicking the nav deal on the right in the character menu when you press f2.

    the best way early on to get nav points is to do trading missions for merchants,or by attacking every ship you see like a deranged chihuahua :will and certain other missions are good for raising nav too.but the merchant missions raise it quicker than anything else and they good source of money...

    yeah the games codes are fairly similar some deferences but they are close enough that mastery of one games code will help with the other game.some things in potc are less complicated but other things are more so.depending on what build it was added :wink:

    editing cannons is as easy as editing ships cargo space and speed,just put in any numbers ya want far as re enabling cannons for sale i'm not sure,could be as simple as changing the false to a true,but i have this funny feeling there's other areas of code you'd have to change,shouldn't be too...

    good catch :whee well if another modder can take a look who knows the code maybe they can find the reason,but most of the potc buildmod crew learned by playing around and reading the tutorials so if ya want and/or have time maybe you can figure it out,never a thing as too many modders :wink:

    i haven't ran into it yet,but then most i've played is 20 hours in lol.but if i get that far into the game i'll look at the dialogs and see if i can do anything warning my knowledge of the code language so no promises.

    yeah sometimes i wonder how they decide how to classify certian things.but it's very easy to reclassify the ships and change their cargo hold size speed and even calliber just go toprogram ships ship init and find the ship ya want to modify then plug in the numbers ya want and save and they work...

    don't know if it's been mentioned yet or not,but in peter bloods story if you ask the smuggler for weapons instead of the smith he gives you 3k too though not sure if you can do the day 2 side quests or not afterwards cause with the 3 k i managed to have enough for the "sloop" and i never can...
