    Yea, thats a thing that happens... crashes with no notification, in critical moments like going from a sea battle to "God mode" mostly. Got used to it and am saving often. But you know what...     D´orgh! I thought i had the right data in my program. Turns out i had not. had pIrates instead of pYrates HMS surprise, last changed June 25 2011. Downloading. my bad - apologies. Also: Thanks for the Raa frigate. she is a beauty, and has served me well a few weeks back.

    Kewl.... taking a look in 5 minutes. -->grabbing the "last surprise version Beta" folder, including subfolders, right? has been last modified on 16/6/11 and the other misc surprise files are from 15/jan/11, slightly confused, unused to this kind of thing :wink: :roll:

    Bug? Surprise Frigte has two bow cannons marked in the cannon count menu, but none are available in battle. looking at the (HOT!) model i see no Bow cannons either. Still GoFfing on version 1,0

    i turned the realistic weights off. am on my sixth Character now, and at last i can keep my men fed and drunk. damn. maybe you lads can somehow find a middle ground for the fright weight thing... else i do not see how i can have any use for that function. I think its a question of trading...

    difficulty options as defaulted by the GoF setup. if i changed stuff, it wouldn't be GoF anymore, but COAS...so... i left it. character sailor, various used in UK and NL nations, few encounters, and fast experience gain (slider right) My way of playing is to grab the merchant missions for good...
