Thanks, but that's just the usual recommendation for many game problems - make sure you have the latest sound and video drivers. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate_plain.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->for anyone who is interested, I installed the game, then got rid of the starforce thingy. then installed the no dvd patch (v1.41) then installed the mod and all the updates, then istalled the latest nvidia drivers. the game works a treat (so far).<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Installing the NoDVD patch was unnecessary since Supermod includes one. You only need a NoDVD patch if you're going to use the official version 1.50 patch. (Or if you plan to be a masochist and run plain version 1.41. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
