3+ Months for a patch?

Developers have to understand that although there are continuing sales it is important to put out a quick (or two) just to let your customers know you care.

As far as I am concerned this game has lost all momentium, and there might as well not be a patch at all.

Momentum is huge. Look at a TV like Six Feet Under. They have spaced a year plus between seasons and killed all the momentum of the earlier seasons. Once intrest dwindles, it never feels the same again. That is how I feel about Pirates!
 
Well, I think the momentum is still pretty strong at least amonst those of us who waited 10 years for this game. A couple of months before the first patch is not going to bring it crashing down... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

But I'd like to know what issues the patch is going to address... That's what's important...

I also played about 5 full games and I'm on my break now (finishing my Civ3 mod and playing it). Waiting for the patch...
