I've recently tried out the A&M Mod and although I haven't got too far into it, mainly due to the language, there have been a couple of seemingly basic elements that appeal to me. I'm sure there will be many more complex elements that will be revealed the further I progress and I'm aware some of the Build modders have been working on a number of these.
The experience/skills/attributes system looks very interesting and seems to be a more realistic way of developing characters and officers. The weight/carrying capacity system for characters also appeals to me... after all, the ability to carry 50 bottles of various types, 30 swords, 15 pistols as well as large amounts of coin and artifacts would be beyond the greatest of heroes.
However, two seemingly basic elements that appeal to me as adding a further degree of realism are the smallarms ammunition (i.e. musketballs), and powder for the ships guns. Since there have already been enhancements to the build regarding crew and ship management such as food and rum, weapons, etc, would this not also be a positive addition. Would these additions/conversions be fairly simple or is there a lot more complexity to them? Excuse my ignorance if these have been raised and discussed or discounted elsewhere.
Are these do-able in the future and would they be worthwhile inclusions to the Build?
Cheers, mates. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
