My converter will not let me convert some files and I was wondering if someone could spare five minutes to convert them.

I was trying to convert:

At Wit's End
Parley
What Shall We Die For
I Don't Think Now is the Best Time
One Day
Drink Up Me Hearties Yo Ho

I've got some good ideas for them and would really like to see the At World's End music in the Build before 14 is official.

I'm presently downloading all 3 soundtracks. Give me a list of songs you would like converted to .OGG and I can convert them. Is it possible to convert MP3 to OGG without it being overly large because last time I tried an MP3 conversion like that it came over 100MB per song. Or am I going to need to buy the Soundtrack on CD to get the CDA files and convert them that way?

But yeah I can do that.

I really don't know. I bought the first two on CD and the third on iTunes.

I'm going to get the list of files now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I have the files in .ogg format already. If you want them I can put them on FTP into my folder ("Jack Black"). Just give me a thumbs up for that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
The sampling frequency is 44100 Hrtz and the bitrate is 160 KB/s.

@Mr. Cyberpunk
If you got an .ogg conversion with about 100 MB per song there is something terribly going wrong with the conversion. It should be possible to convert .mp3 files to .ogg without using much more space than the .mp3 file.

I can add that if you want.
I try to put the whole soundtrack on so you can take what ever you want by yourself. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

[edit]Soundtrack is up. You can find it in "Jack Black\Potc 3 At Worlds End Music".
Hope that will do it for you. I'm anxious about the result <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />[/edit]

Arg! Ye Beat me to the Loot! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel_pa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ixi" border="0" alt="duel_pa.gif" />

I got mine down to 5MB per file 192kbps. (last time I did this it was for a PS2 game and required a lot of conversions hence why it was so large)

If you've got the CD soundtrack I would hope you could get it around 320kbps as my version @ 192kbps sounds really tin like.

Also has anyone noticed that some of the songs repeat themselves (in certain bits) on the new soundtrack? that could get pretty annoying <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> But drink up me hearties seems to be the only one that features the actual theme song to POTC (He's A Pirate for those with the Curse of the Black Perl OST) my biggest issue with that song is the stupid drunk bit at the start. I'd recommend editing it out granted it does destroy the mood of the song but I'll leave you all to decide what to do with it.

EDIT! I can submit the version I just did. Sounds significantly better! its 9MB in MP3.

I'm not sure if it will be seamless but I can work on reducing the volume at the start.. that should fix it. Just tell me what you think.
