one important thing about ANNO 1503 is that if you're looking for good battles as a sidenote, you're out of luck. seabattles are fair enough, but land battles are a bit sloppy. there's just too few units for too much terrain, and little tactics to it. for some reason, the developers have been unable to add music to the seabattles, only the land battles. however, as far as city developement is concerned, the game's really good, though you might want to fiddle with the prices for goods, because you tend to run short of cash if you don't trade, and trade is a bit unreliable. at least i have problems with it.
note: there's a funny loophole in this game. if you sell a ship, but dan't close the menu as it gets sold, you can still command the ship to some extent, under the enemy's flag. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
