Altering the surrender rate in Build 11?

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could tell me which file one needs to edit to reduce the rate at which the enemy surrenders? It seems that the enemy ships surrender far too often for my liking when boarding (I'm bloodthirsty I guess <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate_plain.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="3" border="0" alt="pirate_plain.gif" /> ). I've managed to take brigs without the enemy ever putting up a fight (well, hand to hand fight anyway) - they just surrender to my mercy.

Anyway while the current build surrender code is possibly more realistic (?), I'd like to alter the chance that the enemy will surrender their ship to me automatically to about 1/3 to 1/4th the current rate. I want to fight for my prizes!

I haven't had a good boarding action in days, and I'm only just barely level 7 by now. I've taken to executing the enemy captains just because they're too cowardly to fight me! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dev.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":d:" border="0" alt="dev.gif" />

I agree wholeheartedly. It is nice that they will surrender, knowing that you'd pwn them otherwise, but I would much rather fight my way to the cabin to take the captain. Then return to Conceicao and ransom him (bail money. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />) instead of just pullling up alongside his ship and dragging him over.

Or at least make it so the national warships fight all the way to the cabin. That would be a nice touch.
