OK here's a plan....

Anyone using Kiva at all? It's a micro lending organisation. I've been doing it off an on for a while now.

I was thinking, anyone interested in setting up a PA! group. We'll lend to people in the Caribbean area.

Yep, I have ongoing donations in it. its an excellent charity in my opinion.

Because it helps (hopefully) stimulate the local economies, it has far more long term benefits than most charities (eg food aid which actually discourages countries with great food production potential from producing food, eg most of Africa). I have economics training and although i am not right wing by any means, i think this is simply a great way of working with economics
