Mod Release AOP Super MOD

Hi all <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" /> ,

does someone know how and where you have to change the files in order to make the autoaiming in the 1stPersonSailing (as in POTC build mod) also possible?
(So that I don't have to aim myself anymore and it depends only on your accuracy skill how the AI is aiming and shooting.) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

And does someone know how you can change the camera position during the 3rdPersonView on land?
Also the change of the camera position in the 3rdPersonSailing would not be bad. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" />

Hey I was wondering where I could locate the Supermod and all it's updates. I also was wondering where I could find a complete list of whats included in them, just like to know what all is added game play for me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

I haven't played AOP in a bit and would like to try this mod out. Anyone knowing who cares to post would be of great help to me.

I've just installed the supermod after deleting my old installation after patch 1.50 added crashes instead of removing ones.
Can you still play the game unmodded with super mod installed but still have the benefit of any bugfixes that come with super mod?

4 things

1 - The superspeed seems to bug out if it runs too long. ship starts doing crazy stuff and the physics seem to get blown up with the time acceleration too (going deeper into the water/waves e.g.)

2 - It seems to me like it's leaking memory somewhere, especially in towns. It starts to jerk at intervals, I know it can't be my system's performance and I have no problems the first hour or so. and no problems on the see at all.

3 - sailing by "setting" a course in sea view and using superspeed still doesn't work too well since the (m) map does not update, you won't encounter anything, and I'm starting to get the feeling no other islands then the one where you left/are nearby in your last world view 'spawn'.. Think just like the previous games that the engine does not have support for that.

4 - Question: are you still working on this mod, will there be an update6 sometime soon?
 
hey everyone

this might be a stupid question but how are you ment to install the super mod when i downloaded it it just has a 700mb file with no file extensions, is there ment to be a unzipping program or something, any help would be awsome and sorry if its been asked before i couldnt find any relivant post

Double click it, it sounds like you have file extensions turned off in windows. Supermod 1.1 is a self installing .exe the updates however need to be copied and pasted in the install directory.

hey people, cheers for the help but it turned out to be that the program that i use to download the file put it in to a another folder and it would let me open it (probaly because they wanted me to buy it) but all is good now i redownloaded it with the normal windows downloader and all is good, it's a normal .exe file rather than a file called X6 and no file extensions, for the record the program i used was "speed spark", just so no-one makes the same mistake as me

Just wanted to inform everyone that there will be no more updates, i have stopped the modding of this game, for 4 simple reasons.

1. To many bugs in this darn game.
2. A new pirate game from akella is coming later this year.
3. Not enough time.
4. To busy working on our own Pirate Simulator game.

Now when the new game is out i will take a look at modding again for that game, as for now it's been fun working on the Supermod, the dowloads and updates will stay online to download.

Now i am the kinda person to never say never so what this means that who knows maybe one day i will continue the Supermod and make some more changes to it. As for our progress of the last few months we were really busy in adding the Expansion Pack that came out a few months ago, so far 60 % has been translated and added to the Supermod, however like i said we decided to call it quits for now.

I will drop by from time to time to see how everything is going with ya'll

Hey Guys,Rapid share links and filefront links don't work anymore. I'm happy to make a torrent + all the updates AND upload them all to files-upload.com and maintain it. I WANT THIS MOD!!! But I can't damn well find it! Do I need to download updates in order from 1 through to 5, or can I just install update 5?

Sorry i'm completely new to the game but I did capture myself a warship and a lineship in 1 battle <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dev.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":d:" border="0" alt="dev.gif" />D:D and supermod sounds great, really keen on giving it a go. When i get my hands on them I'd be happy to torrent and super seed or even upload it to files-upload.com for everyone cause rapid share really does suck. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Hmm, the rapid share servers don't work anymore and the filefront and neither does the galaxyproductions links work...where the hell do I get this great mod? Thanks guys, yarghghg
The galaxyproductions site goes to some strange pink site I can't read that just looks like a purchase of host site, help pls, I'll make sure I upload it all to a killer host for all future generations of young landlubbing pirates to download from <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Thanks for the info Shamanjim, was looking for the downloads since rapid share and the other one on the 1st page isn't working for me.
 
i triyed to download the files on Shamanjin link, but i couldnt download updates 3 & 4, i dont know why but it resulted to that : "Your download key for the requested file is invalid. Download keys are only valid for 48 hours. Once your download is complete, the key is no longer valid. Keys are also only valid for the original server.

Additionally this error may be caused because the file was not found on the server.

If you need help starting your download, please contact FileFront support."

so i need help, does someone can send it to me? or tell me what i've done wrong


*edit* nevermind, it was just because of a maintenance on the site...

Hi All
I'm new to all rhis so please bare with me I have down loaded and installed the Super mod And love it but how do i install the updates I am using windows XP and have saved them but when i click on them they dont open and windows asks if i want to find a program to open them with
