AoP to PoTC? legal issues?

What are the legal issues in transferring material from AoP to PoTC?

in the post build were seeing entire decks with textures, straight out from AoP.

Well, simply put, taking things from a game and adding those things in another game is illegal.

I think that if you like to use AOP things in POTC. You have to buy AOP!! with star force and all.
If you want to use POTC only, then you must get rid of all AOP things.

I think that modding always takes place in a legal twilight zone. After all you can't mod without messing with someone else's published legal property.

The decisive question is whether the software publisher tolerates it. Akella was always generous and smart enough to support modding. Smart, cause mods extend the lifespan and fanbase of a game <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

I think it would be wise, to keep the stuff that not that visible (like decks, some models) but for Christ sake, get rid of the big, shiny pictures, and stuff!!!!!!!
Its a non-released, propably top of sales game. AKella easily can take U all out from this site, and I dont want that. We can paint too, if we need good system graphics. So, at least DONT SHOW them.... I just realised what picures are exactly from aop, and im a bit... nervous about this.
Its a really good community. Why a hell we need stuff what we can do ourselves, from them? I agree with models, and some codes, even a multiplayer, if someone can do it. But not the art.... We are Wiser than this.... I hope.
