You wanted to say "Good, that you're making armors", or "Those armors looks good" ???????

He probably meant both them. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

OK

Hey, Pieter,
I noted, that there is pirat15.gm character model, that uses pirat15.tga.tx... But there is also cnorrington.gm he uses the same pirat15.tga.tx, so he doubles... I want to know:
Q1: Do both of those skins is used somewhere?
Q2: If yes, then can I hex-edit the texture name on cnorrington.gm to something else...
Q3: Is this only on my pc...???

Edit:
Found problem:
b14a8w2max use pirat15.gm with pirata5.tga.tx texture, cnorrington.gm with pirat15.tga.tx
b14a8w2kk both of them use pirat15.tga.tx

I'm sorry for not answering earlier. I had three busy days, getting up at 5:15 and getting back home at 18:45 (or 20:00 that day when there was a problem at Amsterdam Central Station).

I recall noticing this problem earlier. They're NOT supposed to use the same texture. In both my installations of the Maximus AND KK versions, this has already been fixed for quite a while and pirat15.gm uses pirata5.tga and not pirat15.tga anymore. Strange that in your KK version this is not the case. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

Updated first post
<b>Update 2008-05-29:</b> Updated <i><u>Assasins Armor Pack</u></i> with Beltro model. Updated <i><u>BlackOfficer2 Armor Pack</u></i> with fixed pirat15. Updated <i><u>Gypsy Armor Pack</u></i> with 47_Norrington_pirate model and fixed cnorrington.gm

Fixed that problem with pirate15.tga.tx... And added 2 more armors <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Thanks very much! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

I don't think we added this to the Build mod, except perhaps the Gypsycaptain ones. Perhaps we should, eh? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Personally I don't think they improve the 50Grey1 or the 50_33_40Claire, and would rather these not be modified.

I'm not modified any model... I'm simply adding armor models... I'm not touching any work in direct...

This time I'm not touching your work....

If you'll make armors for your characters, note me, and I'll remove my-ones from these download files (And Pieter, if that armor was/is/will be included in some alpha).

Of course they're your models, Petros, so if you don't want the armor to be added, I can leave them out.
However, the armored models don't overwrite your original work and they only appear if your models are actually wearing armor. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

By modified, I meant how they look, and in game they look like (and so are) Gregor Samsa and Claire Larrouse, both unique quest characters.

And the female Pirate 10 based models really look bad in armor ... can we say Madonna with cone bra?

Most of the POTC models weren't designed to look good in armor.

Limited models means that we are stuck making clones, but the best characters are ones where the texture work makes the character unique looking.

Be creative, take existing characters and make them into something that looks completely different.
Slapping a layer of armor onto a texture just doesn't work!

I can't view characters properly with my GM Viewer, so I can't easily check which characters do and don't look good with armor.
There should be at least a couple that do look good, right? Could someone have a look at them and say which ones would be good to add?
The others we could put in an additional download once Build 14 is done.
