What the heck? I put it in the drive this morning, and it cracked into four pieces?! The breaks were clean, almost like it had been cut. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Dang lucky EB took it back this afternoon without a problem. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Now, to just find myself another copy... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Anybody else had this happen? Is it another batch of bad discs? Seems to be happening a lot lately with several companies.

My copy was the European release, not the North American, by the way since it had come in to the local EB by mistake.

Yeah - it broke right after the drive spun it up. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> Surprisingly, the DVD drive still works after that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

That's the third time I've had a disc break on me - the other times, though, it was in school computers, which was good, since those two drives were shot after the discs broke. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Well they say it happens in three's and in this case its justified but discs breaking in dvd/cd romsi can't say i'ver ever heard of it happening before maybe its a comination of your luck with discs and disc drivers, do you have any brother's or sisters who like to play jokes on you or get revenge for what ever reasons?

i had 2 spearhead disc`s break on me in the same month cost me £7 each time for a replacement from E.A
