Best ship in Build mod?

What is the best ship in Build mod 13, so far I have the Heavy Warship which has 74 guns I think, but is there anything that is better than it? And what is the difference between Cannons and Longguns? aside from the range.

Ship choice depends on your play style. The ships that are the fastest, most maneuverable and most guns would be interceptor, black pearl and flying dutchman I believe, but I'm not an expert on the ships. Differences between cannon and culverine are range, damage and reload rate. Cannons are shorter range, higher damage and generally reload faster.

Well the cursed ships are the best if you are looking for shps with HP so high it would take 1 hour just to get it below 25%

Out of the normall ships. If you want something that can take on a fortress alone and still have enough crew to spare for the attack. Then i suggest you go Man'O'War hunting.

1000 crew, 100 guns

Enough to blow anything that oposes you out of the water in a couple of shots. Unless you are up against a cursed ship with its unholy amount of HP. Then chances are youll run out of ammo before you sink it ^^

the fastest normal ship is a pirate designed fast schooner. i set a speed record in that one. should be in my logbook.

I need to get me a Man-O-War, I don't care about speed, just as long as I get them in range of a full broadside.

Well as said. The Man'O'War is the strongest normal ship in the game.

But if its unbeatable ships you want. Then go for the hunted ones. Their HP is atleast 3 times that of a Man'O'War

Though they have less cannons and crew ^^

sorry if its been right there in plain view and I have just totally overlooked it but
is there a ship guide or something listing all of the ships in the game and maybe a short description about them?
