There is a online game browser called all seeing eye that is really good for finding mod servers. You can download the trial version which will work, but you have to pay for the full version. I have yet to find BFP on gamespy.

Mateys, Fred Bob be a tellin' ye how tew find ye a BFP server! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

1) Start yer BFP from de Desktop icon.

2) Yer GameSpy interface will start up. Select ye Multiplayer > Internet

3) Enter "BFP" in de Map field and then press yer Apply Filter button. All de BFP maps have them a "BFP " prefix.

4) Ye should git 3 - 10 hits, but usually only 1 to 3 have any players.

Hey PirateSam - BFP is alive and well. There are 4 very active clans - I belong to the smallest and newest clan, SeVen Seas (SvS).

hey there, ya bfp is alive and very well, it has gone thru a downer recantly but its back! and with the new version comin out soon everyone shud check it out. and btw the most active server is pirates of portlaise by far.

Im the leader of SvS "smallest and newest clan" with about 15 members and we are all active and there are always plenty of players up for a game.
