Solved Blistering barnacles! Admirals key!

I had a very hard time finding the admirals key in City of Abandoned Ships, until I did replace the key model with ladders After that I did some playing around with the locator in the game and did some treasure hunting for the key spawns.

This is what I found out and I've also included pictures. The purple "circles" are the key spawns (I think. At least I found my key on one of them. Could anyone confirm these spots if they've found their keys on these spots?

Finally the "treasure map" where I marked all the purple locations.

It would be helpful if someone would go check if they find their key in these spots and also tell me if there are more (with proof)

ive never played this quest yet, im doing the nationals right now, then ill start on it.

Interesting approach! I would have never have thought to use the ladder texture in place of the key...

You know the last time I did that quest was three years ago. I need to do it again and make a video this time.

yeh you do ive not done it before, most of your vids are cool. i need to watch it before i try the quest.

I'm now doing this part again and I'll have to see if the admirals key is actually at one of these places.

Gonna go searching for it.

Yarr. I just finished the whole CoAS quest and I am happy to confirm that the admiral Capper's key indeed does spawn to one of these purple areas. (On the 2nd try, it was on the "Protector", right where I thought it would be) That is all.
