Cannot Confirm Boarding: All Characters Generated At Same Position Flying Above Water

I don't know if this is a bug, or it just happened without a reason. Yesterday, when I boarded a Fleuron class 3rd rate ship with my 5th rate warship, a bug occured. Instead loading the battle into ship deck, I was on the sea with my crew and enemies crew. They were swining the swords but were not making any damage. Then I pressed the F12 key and the battle loaded into captains cabin. I defeated the captain and I got the new ship, which, to be honest I wouldn't be able to achieve if the bug didn't happen. Just to let you know that I'm playing the Beta 4 WIP version. Here are the photos:

Do you have a savegame? Where you have captured the ship so we can see which one is the problem?
 
Sounds like the boarding deck location failed to load OR, more likely, the locators used didn't exist.
That is normally the cause for all characters to be generated on top of each other at the location's (0,0,0) spot.

Do you have any .log files to go with this one?
 
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to save cause in battles savegames are disabled.
The only thing that I can see in the error.log are these lines:

How about compile.log and system.log? Please post those too.

^ So it would be an issue with that location then? How come nobody else has ever been noticing it before, I wonder. o_O
 
There was something like that happening a few years ago with mutiny's but that got fixed. I know of no other time this has happened.
 
Can it be replicated? If so, how? In that case, please also upload a savegame from which we can check this.

I cannot confirm that. It happened only once with those two ships boarding. For instance, I boarded a 5th rate warship with my Fleuron class 3rd rate (the same one I had before I got this one) and there wasn't any bug. Unfortunately, I don't have a save game, just the one that I saved after I captured the ship and repaired it at the shipyard.
 
please upload that savegame at least. so we can check the specs of the captured ship and see if anything is wrong with that. better then nothing
