BUG help. Build 13 + Update 2

I'm running Build 13 (from full download) + Update 2 unpacked ontop.

I've had no problems with the gtame for days until now, I'm stuck on the main story due to a glitch??

I've spoken to Silhard about the golden idol with Danielle, and he's legged it. Then fought my way back to our ships on the shore. The quest log then says that Danielle will head to 'The Isle of Mulle' to find the original copies of some transcript and that I should head to Greenford and ask some soldiers about the idol.

Right so after wandering around greenford trying to ask every soldier and getting nothing but the standard responses ("i'm on duty" etc...) I decided to resort to a Walkthrough. After checking a couple they all say i should talk to the guards in the prison.....but i also only get the standard responses from them!! and the head guard (guy behinde the desk in the prison) just says something like we have no business to discuss!!!

Is this a bug? cos now i can go no further?

I did notice that when i enter the prison i get the 'red flashing character icon' asif im being attacked....although I'm not...

I think u've slightly missed the point mate.

and also Danielle's ship is still with me, rathering than having sailed off to the Isle of mulle like it's supposed to have?!?

i haven't played that part you mentioned for a long time, so i can't help. but i understand that you figured out your first problem as you seem to have gotten further in the main quest.

upon reading my complaint one of my friends said 'you did tlk to danielle aftr being in Silhards bedroom didnt u, she tells u to tlk to the bar-keep etc etc....'

I didnt remmber this conversation and no extra options appeared with the bar-keep.

it appears i managed to get back to my boat before speaking to danielle last time, maybe because i often play sections of the gam at the 3x speed.

Anyway loaded again, and sure enough danielle spoke to me this time, and then the options appeared with the bar keeps, also she went to the isle of mulle rather than still following me (as shes supposed to).

So i guess this is a warning against rushing past people at high speeds.
