Build 11 + Catalina's graphic mods

I have a problem with this combination. installed NK Build 11, then tried to install Catalina's graphic packs (installed all 5). the game runs, but all buttons in F2 menu are blank (without text) and half of item pictures in inventory screen is missing. is there any way to get catpacks working with build 11 ?

tried reinitialize, but doesn't help

As far as I know, all of Cat's graphics packs are already included in build 11. The corrected map textures, the new compass, the Xebec and Lugger CT, are all included in the build, so there's no need to install them separately. As far as the new Admiral skin, I'm not <i>positive</i> if it's in, but it's a pretty safe bet.
 
ah, ok. thanx

saw that the compass mod is implemented (it's mentioned in build 11 documentation i think) but nothing was said there about the ship skins, so i thought i have to install it separately
 
Most of Catalina's other graphical changes are in the Extra Textures optional update that you can download.

If you try installing the old packages they will overwrite some of the code in Build 11 and that will casue problems as you have found out.

I suggest that you unstall the game and then do a clean installation of POTC. Then go onlie when installing the Build and use the Extra Textures and Updates options to ensure that you have got a couple of bug fixes that were released for the Build as well as the graphical changes that Cat has made.
 
Those extra textures are completely separate from any of the interfaces, they're just loading screens that reflect the new map I made for PotC. They also change the framed maps on the walls of some interior locations like the shipyards and townhalls.

Let me stress that they are JUST textures, and there is no coding OR interface that they should interfere with.

If you're having trouble with your game, it may just be a corrupted install - if you do what Sirus suggests about doing a clean installation of PotC, then Build 11.0, the update, and then add the textures, and I think you should be fine.

The extra textures are purely cosmetic, and are NOT absolutely necessary, and they should not interfere with the running of the game.
