Build 11 help

I have just installed the build 11 mod and when i press new game on the menu it just quits out of the game <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":c" border="0" alt="mad.gif" /> i have tried `re-installing` the game but still no luck. this is really annoying be because i have heard lots of could things about the mod. plz help if u can

Open the file <span style='color:red'>engine.ini</span> in your main POTC folder, then look near the bottom for something like this:

tracefilesoff = 1

Change the 1 to a 0, then start the game up. When it crashes, a file will be created in your POTC directory called <span style='color:red'>error.log</span>. We'll need to see the contents of that error log to help sort out the problem.

(There's a way to use the POTCModHelper to generate an error report, but this is the way I use.)

Try with the european patch.

Probably you have to install the european patch. You should found it in the setup kit.

Thank u very much that has worked <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="onya.gif" /> it is strange that i needed to install the european patch when i did not need to on my brothers computer anyway thnx for the speedy response
