Build 12 Update ?

Hi , how is everyone,
I was wondering if the localization problems have been ironed out with the latest Build?
I've been having trouble trying to get Build 11 & Build 12 up and running. I assume Australia was shipped the US version of PoTC ?

Anyway it hasn't stopped me creating a few brand new Brothel Characters (Albeit not tested yet with the game). Expect to see something soon.

I think the problem was not build 12 it was that the mega stone dwarw dominated the files. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

I believe the localization troubles have not completely or officially been ironed out yet, but NathanKell has made some suggestions that seem to help some (not all!) people:

1. Install Build 11, check "European Version"
2. Install Build 12, do _not_ check "European Version"
3. Open POTCProgramBuildSettings.h, set EURO to 1
4. Try the game out.

Also - do this to get you going:

Step one: Load game
Step two: options->controls->reset to defaults
Step three: options->controls->customize (to taste)
Step four: press I

If you are still having trouble, try this tempfix from Sirus_Darke:

Save the file and start the game, hopefully this will now work OK.

Commenting these lines out will just mean that you can't use dchaley's Quickload or Quicksave, which is unfortunate.

Build 12, by the way, rules the donkey's temple, so like get it!
For myself, I increased the itsy bitsy ont, my eyes are active, but not that good, ok. And I made the movement more lucid, like you can actually see (sea) the face o' yer character (Thank ya Bob!!!!)

Makes the game more faskinachanating and stuff, oh yeah, be the force! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

Just got Build 12 running - died the first moment I entered Oxbay and woke up in Greenford Tavern. Amazing Scripting !! I think people have done an excellent job.

Just one thing.. I thought it was a Build problem but all my problems ceased as soon as I went from 32 bit to 16 bit in Config .
