Does anyone knows when build 14.8 come's??
I can't wait... :p
I suppose that the flying dutchman is equiped in that mod...
 
Nobody knows. I don't know and I don't think Pirate_KK who is making it knows either. Somewhere in August was what he said. There is a Flying Dutchman in Build 14 Alpha 6. We still don't have a definite version of the ship, but we do have three different versions to choose from.

BTW: Please note that it is Build 14 Alpha 8 we're working on and not Build 14.8. Build 14.8 suggests that Build 14 is already done, but it really isn't. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/no.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":no" border="0" alt="no.gif" />

ik hoor daar geen geluid als ik m'n kanonnen afvuur,,,
Kan iemand me helpen??
 
het kan komen doordat er nu meer geluidsbestanden zijn. misschien zijn er nu meer bestanden dan je geluidskaart in één keer laden kan, want alles wordt tegelijkertijd geladen.

Can anyone tell what the most recent, relatively stable build is and the proper installation order. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" />

JASON! Nice to see you again! I think the most stable Build version is still Build 14 Alpha 6. Alpha 7 contains a lot of nice new features, but people have been experiencing issues with it. Alpha 8 is a work in progress and if we manage to get that stable, it will be pretty awesome. I was testing yesterday though and encountered a whole bunch of bugs that really need to be fixed first though.
 
If you install Alpha 7, it doesn't work. You need some additional files that were accidentally left out of the release. I will upload those. Not sure about the bugs encountered in Alpha 7; I think some people were getting stuck on boarding or something. And crashes every now and then. But I didn't play it much.
 
did you notice that the turning into a skeleton when you have an aztec coin doesn't work, even at night?
 
I know. Maximus once made that mod, but it was an experimental mod and was eventually removed from the modpacks again. Would be nice to put it back in, but I don't know where to find it anymore. Not to mention it didn't work entirely right.
 
oh, didn't know that. well, at least the aztec coins are now actual aztec coins again.

And to install in order it would be POTC, Build 13, and then what? And where would I find the features list for Alpha 6? I will try to install and get it working over the weekend.

BTW are you back from the cruise?
 
For Build 14 Alpha 6, install in the following order:
1) Make sure you have Build 13 installed properly
2) Remove the folder RESOURCE\MODELS\locations\DECKS
3) Extract the Build 14 Alpha version on top of your game
4) Extract and run preset.bat from the Build 14 Alpha file
5) Run RunMe.bat
6) Reset the controls to default!
7) Change the game's settings, controls, etc. and play
