Okay, so I get a job from the Tavernkeeper in Oxbay, merchant comes in, I use the new option to view the map, figuring it would do me good to know where the hell I'm supposed to take him. After looking at the map, the merchant just stands there like an idiot, unwilling to talk to me ever again, and he stays that way whether I zone in or out of other areas in town or on the island.

Sounds like he turned actor. Probably the intent was to have him automatically talk to you again, which apparently doesn't work. AGH! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Somebody please compile a proper list of all Alpha 8 issues. I really don't have time to keep track of them all right now.
