Can't find Cutler Beckett !?

I started the storyline and i should go with Beckett to Jamaika ...
it's the first mission. In Port Royale i can't find him in the port. Where is he ?

When you get to Port Royale, Jamaica.

On the jetty Beckett should be there, he should walk up to you and talk to you.

Sometimes he just does not appear

So you have to go back to last save and try again. When you get to Port Royale - use Port - not Moor - sometimes that makes a difference
