Capture flying your personal flag.

Ahoy,

I am playing the January 29 version and I have noticed something that I think is new' I have an LOM and when I capture a ship when I am flying my personal flag. I get a warning that the capture is an act of piracy. When I fly the national flag it recognizes the capture as a prize. Is this a deliberate change from previous versions or perhaps a bug.

It is intentional. You must be flying a flag for a nation from which you have a LoM, and which is hostile to the target, for a capture to be legal. But it's not new to the 29th January version; the changes in the law of the sea were introduced in the update of 5th November 2025.
