" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I have not yet drilled a town with cannons, then sacked it to see how much cash I plunder, then loaded from the save and tried it on foot to see if there is more loot to be had. So since I have not done any "testing" on that, I prefer not to give any advice on it. And since the manual speaks about hitting the town from the water, I figured I'd mention that. Yes a large margin of victory will help you "take over" a town. But I hit a town that had about 300 men, and I had 600 and I did not "take it over". After the first battle, I resacked it again, when they have about 160 men, and that time, the governor game up.
