CD problem

I put the CD in the drive, it humms and humms, but the game wont initiate. I tried to do it manually, but it could not detect the game! I tried to see if it was my computer, but other CDs worked fine. What should I do.
 
ACtually, I think I may know the problem. I got the limited edition. I see all this stuff about CD2 etc. MY box only have 1 cd, no case, just a flimsy carrier.
 
The Limited Eddition is a DVD, make sure your drive is a `DVD-rom`.
