Character Naming and Skins

Hi,

I am new to the community and am interested in Pirates of the Caribbean.

I did a search for it but could not find anything: I am wondering if there are any mods which allow you to re-name your character to whatever you want?

Also the mods packs for character skins; are there any programs that allow you to choose main character skins easily without having to go deep into code and script?

Just to clarify the above about the character skins question...what I am basically wondering is if the mods work much like they do for Morrowind where within the normal game character creation menu you can select from the character skins provided by the mod.

Or do you actually have to go into the script/code and modify values and naming conventions?

There is an all-new tailor shop, so you just buy the skins you want, and then use a beautiful little interface for lookin and equipping your outfits. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

About name changing, you can very easily do that in the Build. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

About the tailor shop...is that only for what your character wears or can you actually change his face and attribute?

The tailor shops allow you to buy the entire makeover, clothes and face.

You will still have the same stats, but look like a completely different character.

You can also buy changes and save them to use later or use for your officers.

From what I have heard, in Age of Pirates you will only be able to choose from two characters.

I hope that a tailor shop mod is quickly developed for AoP. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

We have a big mod here for PotC that includes being able to rename your character and choosing their skin, their ship, &tc - without going deep into the code to do it...

Also, certain skins have aromour! They save lives, literaly!
