COAS - not finding the gear - serious problem

Hi all

After hours of reloads in the game, looking for a solution in the website, trying to find the right file in the directory Resssource/item, i dont find this GEAR from the mechanical.

I know its random, i explore all the stones, the chests, the borders, looking at every places, i reload before talking to the mechanical too but ..... nothing nothing nothing...

I read that in this forum there is a debud item locator. How to have it & use it? I dont know how to use mods.

Help me plz.

follow the steps to enable the f11 menu,then in game hit f11 then on bottom right of screen there's a button,applications i think,click it,and you'll see a option to show locators,click it and you'll see all locators in the area.

The gear is rather big and not that hard to be spotted (nothing like the admirals key) and it is never in a chest - always just on the bottom (and there is no way to be in a chest when it was just dropped).
The best way to cheat it is look about the cheats for the admiral key and to change it for something noticeable - like a ladder. You will hardly miss a ladder on the sea bottom
