Companion ship officers

How can you asigned officer for your companion ship? When you capture ship you have only option for asigned captain, but i cant see how asigned officer for that ship.

You can't, you can only asign a officer to take the role of captain thats all.

I think that was done through modding i'm not sure (never played POTC vanilla). If it was done via some modding then it would be interesting to know how so we can get it working here in COAS too.
