Need Help Crash at 'new game' ? Anyone Help?

So yeah, I've recently reinstalled POTC and when I tried to run the stock game, storm engine initializes perfectly fine, but when I choose to start a new game, Engine.exe stops working.
I've been looking around for this on lots of forums and other sites, and haven't been able to find the solution.
Some say it has something to do with Intel inside graphics card, which my notebook uses.

I do not expect that anyone comes with an actual viable solution, but many are affected by this issue,
So yeah, if anyone has had this before, or know any solution against it, I'd be gratefull "

Intel GFX card would indeed have that effect.
Recommend installing the latest Beta 3 Test Version: http://www.piratesahoy.net/threads/build-14-beta-3-progress.20686/
When presented with the choice, select the "Intel Graphics Fix" option. That should allow the game to work properly.
The only thing you'll miss it the reflectiveness of the water, but that is a small price to pay for the game actually working.

Since the file from moddb was smaller, I tried it out first, worked perfectly fine.
