Creating new ships?

Hi, for fun I try to create a frigate in the Ships_init.c by copying the stats of the RN_Heavy_Frigate and renaming the ship to Improve_Frigate but it doesn't work. Also when I start the game with my new frigate I see the ship but no pic and in the tutorial I CTD when I leave the Captains cabin. Is there a way to create a new ship with an already existed model.

That is quite possible, but make sure to set "refShip.Name" and "refShip.all" to "RN_Heavy_Frigate" and only set "refShip.id" and "refShip.SName" to "Improve_Frigate".

As I said I made it working but I got a little glitch, when I go to port and enter my ship, at sea the ship say that is class3 and me I made the ship class1 how can I change it so it's says class1 when traveling at sea???
