CTD on the "splash screen"

Ok, I have a problem with PotC crashing on the splash screen (before it even goes fullscreen).

The windows error:

ENGINE caused abnormal error 03H in module SEA_OPERATOR.DLL at 017f:0734c974.

I am using latest ATI video drivers.

That ONLY happens with build 12, when I tried to run normal PotC, the graphics went crazy, all the textures went messed up and if tried to load another screen, it CTD. Guess its the new drivers, worked fine on the obsolete `non-catalyst` drivers.

You might try instead of the ATI drivers to see if there might be Omega drivers for your video card... <a href="http://www.omegadrivers.net/" target="_blank">http://www.omegadrivers.net/</a> That may help better than the new ATI drivers... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

I'm afraid I've already tested those drivers and there was no improvement on build 12 (didnt try the original PotC)
 
Yes, there wasn't one, so I tried and copied it from the old Program folder, but there was still this error.
 
Yes, but i assume that another file is missed.

May it be, that you try to play a plain `build12-only` game?
 
Errr yes i suppose so....

PotC and than Build 12 on top of it.
Am I missiong something?
BTW it did worked at a time ibn the past, but even back than it had same graphical errors. Now it wont even do that. Tried reinstall bout a million times.
