Different Governor Greetings

Hello Everyone,
I've created four new Governor (sound) greetings. I didn't change them, I actually augmented them. To sample them click on the links below. To download them, `right-click` and choose to "save file as"
Make sure to save them to a place where you will be able to find them easily.

Hope you like them, if not then, oh well. I think that it adds a bit of humor to the otherwise pompous toned greeting.

If you need to know how to make your game play these sounds then read on:
Go to where you saved the files and highlight all four and right click on the selection and choose copy.
Open up your main game folder.... eg. Pirates,
then open up the following folders in order
Assets, Sounds, Governor, Speech
Now create a new folder called Save and locate the four Governor Welcome files named `GovWelcome-000`.`wav-GovWelcome`-003.wav and move them into the Save folder. Then right click and choose paste and you should have the new sound files placed. Then run the game, enter any city and talk to Governor. There's one - I think the English gov says it - just before you leave. The only thing I have to type about that is.. I am 99% sure you tell the barmaid that knocks your wanted criminal over the head with a bottle, "Gutentag" or sounds like that to me. I cannot spell german to save my life, but we have a bunch of them around here and it sure sounds exactly like that.
 
The French gov says something like that... "Goodendahg!" to welcome you.

I agree with Catalina that its all gibberish or "Fireaxian".
The four welcomes are for the four different Nationalites and they all say the same thing (or same gibberish) except for the English guy. What the Spanish, Dutch and French governors say does sound k i n d a like "Guten Tag" (German for "Good Day"). Since none of the Nationalites are German I doubt it.
 
I find the bloke in the tavern seems to say something like "Just between us" .. or destiny spoos.. which doesnt make sense so I hear the first one <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/diomed.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dio" border="0" alt="diomed.gif" />
 
Thats the beauty of "Firaxian", it can be almost anything to anyone. Only your imagination limits it. That said, I did not add the sounds to my game. I have enough going on around me with modding Pirates of the Caribbean that I have tried MIGHTILY to resist modding SMP - because I know I'll get sucked in and then if I thought I had no time and no life BEFORE starting to mod SMP, well sheesh...
