Cpt Fabris,
I hear what you're saying, some of those models just will not cooperate or submit to a head swap. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> The more I fiddle with the TOOL, the more things I find it can do, but some of those models are just not willing to play ball. Sometimes changing the texture can achieve the result you want, without having to change the model, but I'm still interested in seeing what sort of models AOP makes available. Looking at your picture above, I have the idea that the corsair1_1 model might lend itself to your design.

This is a picture from when I was trying Beltrop textures on this model.
To answer your earlier question, I do not participate in Rennaisance Faires, but I can't urge you enough to seek out a fencing group, historical or modern, I think fencing is just about the best game there is. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel_pa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ixi" border="0" alt="duel_pa.gif" /> Either Catalina the Pirate, (who is currenlty occupied with other projects) or Mad Jack could tell you more about Rennaisance Faires than I can, they sound like a lot of fun, though.
With regards to the British Museum, I had long been under the misaprehension that the Rosetta Stone was an object that a person could hold in their two hands. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> I think you can imagine my surprise when I found out that it is around the size of a truck tire. This discovery on my part, notwithstanding, nothing beats the experience of seeing something at that level of historical significance in person. (I'll avoid getting into trouble with Lady Mings by omitting any reference to her confusion with regards to the Elgin Marbles, and how seeing them in person cleared up the issues she had previously had with them.)
As always, your gallantry serves as an example to us all. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />
CJPJ,
Thanks, <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" /> no need to dip your pennant, but I couldn't shake the impression that I wasn't getting all thirteen guns. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boom.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":boom" border="0" alt="boom.gif" />
I think that you'll be pleased to learn that I had some time this weekend to play around with the Voysey/Pirat10 headswap with the following results:
<img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic/332ZK34H/922186.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
Sometimes you stare at a texture or a model too long that you lose all perspective, can you guys take a look and let me know what you think? I like how the texture for the uniform turned out, looks like he's been thru a hurricane to me, but unfortunately, so does his face, and I'm not entirely certain that I've caught "Norrignton". (The model looks to me a bit like one of my brothers. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> )
I have a keg of Snakebite (that I "borrowed" from Skull) for the first person to guess which texture I used for the face above.
<img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic/332ZK34H/8211.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/beer2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":beer" border="0" alt="beer2.gif" />
I am a big fan of experimenting with textures on various models to see what kinds of results I get, and here are two that I wanted to share; "Slappy the Pirate" and "Severus Snape", just because they made me laugh. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
