Henry Morgan tells me to rescue a officer/prisoner which will be hung the next day, in Antiago. So I go directly to the prison in basment of St Johns fort, killed the guards and talked to all the inmates. But the prisoner isnt there, just some guy who says i must take him to the grotto in cayman island. So out of options I take him to cayman grotto, his treasure is gone and he vanishes. The Morgan quests says I must still free the prisoner, which apperntly is hanged allready. Ofc ive used my savegames to search high and low.

So Ive been stuck here for houers anyone know where the prisoner is?

Seems to me you forgot to talk to the prison commander first, before you killed all the guards. Just do that and the officer will be in one of the cells so you can talk to him too.

I've noticed that a lot of theses AOP2 quest are just plain stupid. What were the Devs drinking? OH yeah....RUM.

As for your answer I've not run into that quest yet but maybe ( just maybe ) you could spend a few nights either in the tavern room or in your cabin ( cheaper ) until the store clerk gets in the right amount. Unless you may have a time limit, then I'm not sure.

Other than that the food was probably eaten up by the AOP2 BUG. :

You probably need to buy some other provisions like medicine, rum, etc., besides food

thanks for your answers,

i found out, that Stuyvesant only accepts food but he doesn´t care where it comes from. so i just looked around which other cities have a big amount of that and went there to buy the missing quantity and he didn´t mind. my goodness what a strange game :
