East India Company Troops

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had come up with any East India Company Troops? from the POTC films?

On that note i also am wondering if the troops used in the films were real or not?, Is that how the real East India company dressed there troops? I cant find any reference photos

Thomas the Terror made one or several EITC officer skins. No soldier skins as of yet though. Would be nice if they were made at some point.

I'll have a little go-sey, Does anyone know of any reference pictures to work from/Other the movie stills?, i search the net but comes up with indian soldiers of course, also prop stores for detailed photos of the POTC stuff but nout again, also a template from a previous skin for the game, where can i find one of those?

Anyone know where i can get screens?, Or a main POTC forum that i can ask/get from?

Also does anyone have a link to a tutorial that helps upload flags/attach personnal flags to vessels?

I think the uniforms we see the HEITC wearing in the <i>Pirates</i> films are not what they actually wore.

I haven't found anything on HEITC Marines as of yet, but Commanders and above wear Fore n' Aft style bicorns trimmed with gold and white trousers, black silk neck stocks and white waistcoats as of 1800. Lieutenants wear white waistcoats and black neckstocks, blue trousers and plain black fore n' aft bicorns. The HETC did not wear epaulets as it was a civilian establishment.

I think what I heard is that director Gore Verbinski decided, when shooting AWE, he wanted some new uniforms instead of the redcoat ones. So they came up with the EITC uniforms. Perhaps they just made them up. I must say that I don't particularly like them. I think they wanted a darker uniform to make them look like the true villians. The dark uniforms makes them seem like the Nazis or something. I didn't like the blue and red either.
