Editing/Adding Names?

I've been playing Pirates! more or less nonstop since I opened the box on Saturday, and it's good to be back in the Carribean after all these years!

That said, I'm astounded at the prolific and villainous Mendoza, Chatterly, and Connery clans! These folk are everywhere, and sometimes difficult to keep straight. Does anyone know of a way to edit or add names for various parts of the game? A way to add even `4-6` more names to the "daughter kidnapper" or "hiding criminal" lists would be wondrous.

Well, I have done some poking about on my own with the aid of the FPK utility and have found the name lists in lang0.FPK. In my case: piratenames_enu.txt.

It *looks* as though the hiding criminal list should be expandable, though the "EVIL" list only has Mendoza, Raymondo and Montalban on it and may do some strange things.

I have tried adding a few names in the #NPCNAME category and directly under Mendoza in the #EVILNAME category. I will test the results tonight.
