Editing the Character Model

I don't know whether its been said before but Freedom force seems to use very similar models files, the nif and kf.
You can add/edit models for this but my version of the editor don't work <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_twisted.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":twisted:" border="0" alt="icon_twisted.gif" />
Has anyone else tried this yet...?

True enough. But as the economic status of cities is represented by the looks of them, why shouldn´t the social status of your character be immediantly visible? The way it is now, you always run around in the same shirt and pants, no matter if you´re some `wet-behind`-`the-ears` `would-be` buccaneer or the very personification of the Scourge Of All Spaniards with a fortune making Rockefeller envious.
 
Meh - you get dolled up in the appropriate naval togs when some gel asks you to a ball. Can't help but think you wouldn't spend a lot of time on clothing when you're out at sea though. You'd wear something comfy, I guess, rather than something itchy which you have to keep adjusting in the middle of a sword fight.

Could make for an interesting addition to the swordfighting though. Every so often you have to push a button or else your pants fall down <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/oops3.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:ops2" border="0" alt="oops3.gif" />

Maybe a GTA style wardrobe selection option? The possibility of wearing Pirate Bling and a pimp hat at will would be much better than linking it to how much gold you've plundered, I think. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

Nope - you were spot on, I should have been paying more attention to what had been said in the thread beforehand. It was just lucky for me that it HADN'T been talked about in this thread in more detail.
 
Well, it was just an idea, seeing your improvement on your character...
Just imagine, you start up as that `fair-haired` boy in rags and end up splendidly dressed in a crimson, `gold-embroided` coat, having a neatly trimmed beard and long dark curls of hair. If you want to know what I mean, take a look at that Swashbuckler Portrait of Pirates! Gold. That´s what I want to look like at the end of my career.
 
Personally, I want my character to look like he's just made the leap from Bungie's "<a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox/pimpsatsea/" target="_blank">Pimps At Sea</a>" <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
