Elizabeth Shaw quest-line fault

It stops at Octave Fabre in the French admiralty building.... I talk to him, he tells me all he tells me but it doesn't update the quest.... and when I walk out of the admiralty building, I get a massage that stops the game.... not a freeze, just no way to do anything
