Need Help ENGINE.EXE crashes!! Help!!!

I have just managed to install Age of Pirates sucessfully and the patch 1.01 for English version. Although it passed through the Star-force check when running, it simply skipped back to Windows when loading with an error message "ENGINE.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

When I clicked more info, it came with this
Error signature
AppName: engine.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: sea.dll

I have been searching for an answer for hours now. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Me don't think English patch (wherever you got it) could be applied on Russian version. Just patience, mate. Better wait until our friends -Russian betta testers <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> fix the game for You...
 
ok now im confused, i thought AOP was due to be released in english in march?, if that is so how can there now be a english patch???

Sorry guys, I have make a terrible mistake. I just found out that the game my friend bought for me is a Russian version. And I downloaded the "English" patch from some unknown web site. Seems like the patch isn't an English version after all. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huhh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:k" border="0" alt="huhh.gif" />

Hmmm... Maybe all of you should wait for final english version and not try to use pirate patches of unknown origin.

guys help i encountered this problem to everytime i start a new game in my acer aspire one laptop i installed builg 14 and the latest patch build 14 patch 6 and every time i start a new game it has an error called engine.exe encoutered a problem sorry for the inconvinience PLS.HELP I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME IN PORTABLE WAYS!!

You should post this in the POTC Build mod area, not Age of Pirates.
