Epidemic!?

Does anyone know how I can cure an epidemic in one of my colonies? I have tried supplying it with medicine but nothing appears to be happening!!

Common sense told me to supply the town with medicine and a governor with high defensive rating/medic perks. It did not seem to matter so don't worry about it. The epidemic will go away at some point. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/type_1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":nk" border="0" alt="type_1.gif" />
