I have been trying to put MODs into my Pirates dir, but can't, Please help. thank you

Any, I have tryed unzipping into the dir, and also copy and paste into the dir. Can't do it! get first post error. Thanks

That's the strangest error I've ever seen... Have you tried to simply unzip the file and then moving the unzipped file (the .fpk) into the Custom directory by copy-paste?

Yes I have unziped the file then tryed to copy and paste, also have tryed unzipping to the Pirates Custom directory. NO Luck! I tryed to ad a full sreen shot to this post but it's to big. Please note the game is not running when I try the above, I have also restarted windows and tryed above. I have tryed everything I think! thanks

Sounds like maybe yer mod files are corrupted,did ye try redownload mod. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

No the file is not corrupted, as I unzipped it, and also was able to paste it into a temp dir, just not able to paste it into the pirates dir. Thanks

can you move any other file into the pirates! custom folder?

Do you have the highest privileges to use the computer in question? If you can only use the Temp folder, then it may be that your user account has restrictred access...

Also, make sure to try to copy the file to "my documents/my games/sid's pirates/custom/" and NOT the game folder itself (although there is also a custom folder there).
