game gets hole time closed

i play the build mod but alot of times my game gets closed can someone tell how to fix this? most of the time it happends if i attack a enemy ship
 
by 'closed' do you mean crash to desktop(CTD), "PotC has stopped running" error etc?

If so, it all depends. I cause my game to crash quite often by changing the games files, an extra space in the wrong place can cause all sorts of errors :(

But if you mean just from playing the game, then give us more details about the error, there is a post somewhere about how to switch on error logging and how to give us the details of that file when you have a crash. Sadly as the Build Mod 14 is still in Beta stage, there are a number of bugs that still need to be sorted out. The more help we get with error reporting the quicker we can fix things(hopefully!)

if i play the game i want to capture a ship and then i get a message like this, sorry but this game need to be closed. so i dont know if it is a error.

Ayup. That there is an error and a crash.

We need more information before we can help you. What build are you playing? Do you have logs enabled?

Pieter may be able to give you more info from your error log, but the first mention is an error in flag.c(within the Battleinterface), and we do know there are some issues around the flags we can use in the game. So it could be one of those bugs, which we are trying to fix currently.

Best advice i can give you is to understand this is still a Beta version, and Save your game as often as possible. Often a single crash at a specific event(like capturing a ship etc) will not happen next time around, but if it does please tell us as that helps narrow the search down, it could be a faulty/bugged ship etc.

As for posting the other files, i'm not sure what the limit is on the attatchments here, but Pieter may have some advice on that also :)
 
okey i got a other problem now i play the new horizon quest and i am busy with ship hunting but if i want to save my game freezes and if i attacked a ship and it crashed its always a ship from the ship hunting quest maby that is the problem.
 
Try saving just before entering a battle. That will make your logs smaller. But, it is now freezing when you try to save? What mod and patch version are you playing?
 
i runned it.
i can save normaly now maby is ship hunting bugged cause i did not sink the ship and i can save and if i destroy the ship and report to the governor it freezes
 
It sounds bugged. Can you go back to a save from before you got that job from the governor?

Yeah. All of those missing textures in the system log is like mine. We need the last part to see if it shows what is causing the crash.

i found something else in the horatio hornblower storyline when you need to take the spanish fort the cannon opposite the brigde shoot me and i die is this normal?
