GAME KEEPS CRASHING ON ME!!!

I am running it on a Duron 850Mhz, ASUS GEFORCE MX with 32 Megs video card which has hardware T&L. I have 512 Megs of Ram.

I know those are below the minimum requirements but the game loads fine. When I play it for the first time each day it runs for about 2 hrs and then boot me to the desktop. I then reload it and it runs for less time after that before booting me back to the desktop. If I reboot the computer it will run for about 2 hrs the first time and less after that.

I am also running it on Windows 98.

Ok. I´ll try to give you an answer. New(er) games are mostly concipated to work smoothly on the newest Pc´s and OS. I also have a second Pc with Win 98. Pirates runs fine on it. Nethertheless Win 98 is quite unstable and buggy. In that case it could be the fault of pirates or your Pc / Os either.

Close all needless task in the taskmanager when you start pirates on your Duron 850Mhz. And I just have a link for you that eventuallly could be a help for you.

Not really. However, I highly doubt its my OS.
