game keeps freezing

while i enter the shipyard, the game just freezes for atleast 6 minutes or so, then if i click on one of the passenger ships, it freezes again for another 5 minutes then resumes the game..... what is going on it is really annoying everytime i want to enter the shipyard i have to wait 10 minutes to do anything and its really stupid

I think this is a known issue and I'm pretty sure it's been reported on the Bug Tracker.

I've noticed it in my current game, although the freezes I've experienced are usually between 10-20 seconds.

Be worth checking the Bug Tracker to see if anyones working on it.

In the july 19th update the freezes are longer but the are only seconds not minutes. What kind of processor and graphics card are you using?

I get no freezes or hangs when going to the shipyard. Of course my version of the build is different... and the problem could rest in the hands of any certain mod being on or off. For instance, who knows if REAL_REPAIRS might affect it, or something else like FOOD_ON. *shrug* I dunno, I can't reproduce it, so I can't fix it.

The only momentarily freeze I get is when I'm buying 10,000 or more Gunpowder at the Store.

i bought 150000 gunpowder at the store and it only froze for mabey 14 seconds and thats it buy the shipyard freezes for longer and i dont know why, the freezing at the shipyard only happens further into the game, at the beginning of the game it dosent freeze at all but as i progress, it starts to happen. could the real cannons really be effecting it or the food?
