Get Rid of Unread Notifications?

How can you get rid of the unread notifications on the front page?
I've got a whole bunch of notifications about personal conversations that I did already read.
It's just the silly notifications that remain. :facepalm
 
I have no clue on this one mate, sorry. Where exactly do these show up Pieter?
 
On the main http://forum.piratesahoy.net in the upper-right corner of the screen.
 
Ahh ok, the only thing I can think of is check your Notification Options in your profile. It looks like those may have changed a bit since the upgrade, but I am not sure, my memory sucks! :shrug
 
You're absolutely right! That's where they are, that's where you can remove them and that's where you can disable them too! :woot
