Hello, first I wanted to mention that I am really loving playing this game. It is highly addictive and I can't quite identify what keeps drawing me back for more, but it does and for the time being that's a wonderful thing.
Now, this is probably my third game I've started. I started out as Rogue, but after the first year of getting a better ship and a few items advanced to Swashbuckler. The issue I have noticed is that when I go to divvy up the plunder with my crew, I seem to get 10% of what the game says I will be receiving. For example - let's say I had 10,000 gold when I go to divide the plunder.
It gives 5000 to the crew to divide equally, and says that my share will be 5000. However, as the months pass, when I go to start my play again I only have 500 gold. Has anyone else noticed this 'glitch'?
It's not a serious problem in that I can always go get more gold from Spanish trade galleons, but it can keep me from getting some items that would be nice until I've gotten more gold.
